Catherine Louise Duverney

   MRS. CATHERINE LOUISE (KLINE) DUVERNEY, 89 of 169 North Summer St. Adams, MA died Sunday April 27, 2014 at North Adams Commons.

   She was born in North Adams, MA on December 20, 1924, daughter of Harold and Louise (Bleau) Kline. She attended local schools.

Catherine was last employed by Sprague Electric Co. Before that, she worked as a cashier at Adams Supermarket and the former Mohawk Chief Supermarket. She enjoyed camping and travel.

     She was the widow of William Duverney who died on June 10, 1995. They were married on March 11, 1946.

   Survivors include three sons including Raymond J. Paree and his wife, Mary of Adams; William W. Duverney of Adams; and Robert C. Duverney and his wife, Cathy of North Adams.

Seven grandchildren including Shawn Paree and Christine Clish of Cheshire; Katie L. Duverney, Karen Duverney, Kevin Duverney, and Jason Wandrei, all of North Adams; and Michael Wandrei of Charlemont.

Seven Great Grandchildren including Josh Paree, Taylor Paree, Jalyn Olmedo, Alana Olmedo, Trent Wandrei, Caleb Wandrei, and Barbara Rose Clish. She also leaves a step grandaughter, Cyrena Alexa Carr and a step great granddaughter, Elaina Jade.

She also leaves nieces and nephews.

A daughter, Debra Wandrei is deceased and a brother Harold Kline is deceased.

 

FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral for Catherine Duverney will be Friday May 2, 2014 at 10:00 AM at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS CENTRAL CHAPEL, 74 Marshall St. North Adams, MA. Burial will follow in Southview cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Friday morning from 9-10 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to BFAIR in care of the funeral home.
