Harry Rennick

U.S. Veteran

Richfield, Utah - Our kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Harry Henry Rennick, Jr. age 61 of Richfield, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2014 at his home in Richfield, after a brave and valiant battle with lung cancer. He was born May 25, 1952 in Glasgow, Montana, a son of Harry Henry Sr. and Elsie Vernette Keeney Rennick.

He attended the Marquette Skill Center for welding, the Police Academy to become a Prison Guard and served his country during the Viet Nam Conflict as an Air Force Special OPS.

Harry married the love of his life, Lucille Marie Messer, October 8, 1978.

He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Harry loved hunting in his younger years. He had a love for wood work, making clocks and other things in his shop, for his friends and family. He enjoyed playing cards with his friends and family and playing dice with his wife, Lucille.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of Richfield; daughter: Rhonda Renee Syers of Richfield and her children, Tyler Rane Syers, Stephanie and Jon Hood, Johannah Syers and her fiancee, Baylee Newbie and a great-granddaughter, Alexie Hood, all of Richfield; son: Charles Lee and Heather Rennick of Arizona and their children: Tristin Lee Rennick, Trenton Mikael Rennick, and Alexis Marilyn-Marie Rennick; and son,  Steven Scott Syers of New Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Vernette Keeney Rennick Tailor; and his father, Harry Henry Rennick, Sr.

Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. where military honors will be accorded by the VFW Sevier Post #5050 and the Utah Honor Guard.

At his request, his remains will be cremated and burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
