A visitation for Mr. Willie Joe Foy who passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 while in a local hospital will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.  at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida. A celebration service will also held in the chapel from 7-8 p.m. with Elder Theodis Lane, officiating. Military honors will follow.

Mr. Foy leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with 2 daughters, Shalia Williams (Hilton) and Beverly Harvin (Greg); 1 stepson, Reginald Preston, Sr. (Rhonda); 4 grandchildren, Mark Harris, II, Reginald Preston, Jr, Shayla Jean and Jordan Johnson; 2 great grandchildren, Jaquay Graves and Daniel Jean; devoted and loyal friends, Jessie M. Preston, Rubynell Youngblood and Rubin Youngblood; special cousins, Oliver Winkfield, Adlee Grant and John Winkfield; a host of nephews and special niece, Saundra Reed-Gued.

A native of Fitzgerald, Georgia Mr. Foy was born on August 31, 1942 to the parentage of Willie Otis and Josie Mae Foy who preceded him in death. He was the only child to this union. He was a graduated from Monitor High School, Fitzgerald, Georgia in 1960. Mr. Foy enlisted in the U.S. Army and 1961 where he served honorably for four years. After his military service he relocated to Tampa, Florida where he was employed with Schlitz Brewing Company prior to his retirement.
