Paul Bodwin, 61 was born in Beaumont, Texas to Joseph Bodwin (deceased) and Helen Slaughter-Bodwin. He passed away at Clairmont Nursing Home on Monday, April 7, 2014.
He graduated from Beaumont High in 1972, afterward he joined the United States Air Force. After his service to his country he returned to Beaumont and worked at a local refinery in Port Arthur.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Helen Slaughter-Bodwin of Lake Charles, La.; wife, Brenda Buxie-Bodwin; four sons, Reginald J. Bodwin ( Michelle) of Yokohama-shi, Japan, Paul R. Bodwin (Shalonda), D’Artagnan A. Bodwin, Tyrone D. James all of Beaumont; three sisters, Nadine M. Valmore (Ronald) of Keller, Tx, Natalie Farley of Eatonton, Ga., Stephanie Green-Bodwin of Madison, Ga.; six grandchildren and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life services will be at Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel located at 624 Irma Ave. on Monday, April 14, 2014. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Live Oak Memorial Park under the professional care and direction of Comeaux Community Funeral Chapel.
