Gail Granade Fuller

Gail Granade Fuller passed away peacefully at home in Fullerton, California after a brief illness on April 3, 2014.  Gail was the youngest daughter of Dr. John Edwin and Lois Cleary Granade. She was born in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and spent several years with her family in the Philippines prior to World War II.  Upon returning to the United States, her family settled in Bradenton, Florida where Gail attended Manatee High School. Gail continued her studies at Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and later transferred to Stetson College in Deland, Florida.  While attending Stetson, Gail met her future husband, David W. Fuller and they married on December 28, 1957.  In 1971, they relocated to Fullerton, California with their two young children.  Gail enjoyed traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family and treasured friends. Gail was preceded in death by her mother, father and her sister, Shirley Granade Cochran.  She is survived by her loving husband of fifty six years, David, her son, Tad David (Kimberly) of Scottsdale, Arizona, her daughter, Darby Olson (Rex), and her four grandchildren, Drew, Taylor, Matthew and Troy of Newport Beach, California.  She was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, April 10th at 1:00 PM at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church in Brea, California.  Gail will then be laid to rest at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, California. Gail was a graceful and elegant Southern woman, loved by her family and friends, and all others whose lives she touched.
