William F. Hatch, 65, a resident of Fillmore Street in Bennington died Wednesday April 3, 2014 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
He was born in Bennington, VT January 22, 1949. He was the son of the late Harold and Mary (Peabody) Hatch. Bill received his education in Bennington and was a 1969 graduate of Mount Anthony Union High School in Bennington.
In earlier years Bill was employed at Thomson Manufacturing and for 20 years had been employed in the Housekeeping Department at the Crescent Manor Nursing Home from which he retired.
Bill really enjoyed working. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and New York Giant fan.
Survivors include his children, William F. Hatch Jr. of Bennington, Renee Hatch of Bennington and Joshua Hatch of Rutland, VT; Five granddaughters, Aubree, Emma, Sunnie, Lilly and Claire; a brother and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was pre-deceased by a sister Patricia O’Donnell.
At the request of Mr. Hatch there will be no calling hours or funeral services. The burial will take place in the family lot at Hinsdiville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
