Ms. Annie Delores King, age 51, lovingly known by his family and friends as “Annie,” of 2909 Water Avenue, Selma, Alabama, and formerly of Goldsboro, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 31, 2014, at Vaughan Regional Medical Center, Selma, Alabama.
Annie was born in Wayne County on July 16, 1962 to late Mr. Moses Owens and Mrs. Ruby Jean King.
She received her education in the public School System of Wayne County. She attended Southern Wayne High School and graduated in the Class of 1981. Also, Annie attended Wayne Community College where she studied Criminal Justice.
Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street, Goldsboro, NC. Elder Timothy E. Whitfield will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Old Mill Cemetery, 4949 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.
Also, a public viewing will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014, in the Apostle D. L. McIntyre Memorial Chapel, 900 South George Street, Goldsboro, NC from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ms. King leaves to cherish her loving and precious memory to: her daughter, Jessica L. Garner; her son, Jesse L. Garner; her grandson, Josiah I. Brennan; her sister, Diane Owens; a host of other relatives and friends.
On Saturday, April 5, 2014 and prior to Ms. King’s funeral, the family and friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home, 900 South George Street, Goldsboro, NC in preparation for the funeral line-up.
