Home going Celebration for Ms.  Annie Mae Bailey  Johnson of Tampa, will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holsey Temple C.M.E. Church, 3729 N. 15th Street, Tampa, Florida  33605, Elder Charles Irvin, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
On Saturday March 29, 2014, Annie Mae Bailey Johnson closed her eyes and took God’s unchanging hand into the Kingdom of Heaven.
Annie Mae Bailey Johnson was born March 18, 1951 in Hilton, Georgia, the second child to the late Nettie Ruth Riley and Curtis Bailey (deceased).  She resided in Tampa where she was raised and attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
Mrs. Annie Mae Bailey Johnson was preceded in death by her great grandchild, Sylia Bryant; parents, Nettie Ruth Riley and Curtis Bailey; sisters, Rose Mae Bailey West and Beverly Ann Branch; uncle and aunt, David and Ida Mount; aunt, Mammie Bowick; uncle, L. C. Mount; nieces, Stephanie Jolly and Barbara Jean Patton; nephew, Dale Matthews, cousins, George Mount, Amos Mount and Mae Will Engram.
She leaves to cherish precious memories of her:  her sons, Frankie Lee Bailey and Ronnie Holder, Jr. (Dawnyel); daughter, Katrina Lee Bailey; grandchildren, Takela Bailey, Camry Best Holder, Anthone Bryant, Jr., Ronnie Holder, III, Dominique Holder, Isaac Holder, Antonika Coleman, Mia Holder and Jamari Holder; great grandchild, Yvette Joseph; sisters, Willie Nell Patton, Diane Riley (Robert), Nettie McBride (Daryl) and Frances Brown; brother, Douglas Bailey; brother-in-law, Millicent Branch (Smokey); aunt, Ruby Bailey (George) of Houston, TX; nieces, Theresa Johnson, Jackline Patton (Diane), Patricia Patton (Reeche), Jessica Riley, Dominique Matthews and Temika Buie; nephews, Jimmy Patton (Renee), Ronnie Bailey (Paulette), Leon Bailey, Malik Branch; Tracy Washington (Arnettia), Valentino Haynes and Douglas Bailey, Jr.; cousins, Pearl Highsmith, Elder Charles Irvin (Leslie), David C. Bowick (Karla), Michael Bailey, Cheryl Howard, Willis Bowick, David Mount, Jr., Sandra Bailey, Reginald Bailey (Debra), Rodney Bailey (Shamika) and Ronald Bailey (Clara) Texas; her best friend of 45 years, Mrs. Vornice Spires and a host of other sorrowing relatives, friends and neighbors.
There will be viewing from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M. Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Wilson Funeral Home, 3000 N. 29th Street, Tampa, Florida  33605.
