Brittnie Dawn Evans Ackerman

Our bubbly, boisterous, and sparkly Brittnie Dawn Evans Ackerman unexpectedly, due to unforeseen medical conditions left this earthly life on March 23, 2014. Brittnie was born on February 28, 1981 in Salt Lake City, UT to Donald Ray and Cindy Bowen Evans. She graduated from Bingham High School in 1999 where she was an extremely loved cheerleader. She met and married Jason W. Ackerman, later divorced, and together they had the most beautiful, strong, and courageous daughters Kaili and Sasha. These girls were the joy in her soul, the sparkle in her eye, and the dance in her step. She told everyone that they were her greatest accomplishment, everything she did was for them. She taught her daughters to never be afraid to fight for what's right, dance through the hard times, and laugh until it hurts, and then rewind and laugh again.

Brittnie was a full-time Mom and loved that job more than any other, even when her kids were in school all day she worked as a PE teacher to be near them. She was amazing with people as well and that is why she excelled at being a Real Estate Agent. Brittnie was an excellent interior designer and had an eye for things of beauty. She passed on her artistic talent to her daughter Sasha. Brittnie was great at making people laugh, a trait her daughter Kaili reflects. She instilled the love of music and dancing withher girls and if you were privileged enough you may have even caught her doing a booty dance that would always bring a smile.

Brittnie was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was believed to hold the banner for freedom in Heaven due to her feisty spirit. Her family finds comfort in knowing that this is not goodbye but a til' we meet again circumstance. Brittnie would want everyone to find the joy in her life and release the suffering and pain. Her daughters know this and want her services to be a celebration of her life. In honor of her spark and personality they would like guests to wear bright colors, pink is preferred.

She will be missed by her daughters Kaili and Sasha Ackerman; Parents Donald Ray and Cindy Evans; Siblings Stacie (Kevin) Fuller, and Branson Evans; her grandma Shirley Bowen; and 7 nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Friday evening from 6-8 PM at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 W. Services will be on Saturday at 12 noon in the South Jordan 5th Ward, 10206 So. 3200 W. with a viewing an hour prior. Interment Bingham Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made at any Chase Bank under Stacie Fuller.
