Cloe Bounds, 84, of Paris, MO passed away on Saturday morning, March 22, 2014 at her home.
She was born on August 26, 1929 in Paris, MO, the daughter of Guy Robert and Oleta Ann McCann Mitchell. Cloe married Paul Bounds, Jr on February 25, 1951at Paris, MO and he survives at home. Other survivors include three daughters, Sue Ann (Sam) Clawson of Paris, MO, Janis Cloe (Steve) Miller of Paris, MO and Paula Jean (Doug) O’Bannon of Pittsboro, IN; grandchildren, Melissa Willingham and fiancé Michael, Amy (Michael) Rosson, Andrew, Matthew and Dustin O’ Bannon; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Ashley Gray, Blake, Laney, Halle and Michael Rosson; one sister, Vivian (Zane) Miller of Paris, MO and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Russell and Dallas Mitchell and two sisters, Virginia Mallinckrodt and Velma Wilkerson.
Cloe graduated from Paris High School in 1947 and she was a member of the Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Mt. Airy Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Cavanaugh and Brother Steve Miller officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Agnew Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
