Ronny Rene Flores Jr.

Ronny Rene Flores, also known as Lil’ Ronny, went to our Heavenly Father on March 15, 2014. He was born on July 9, 1998 in Midland, TX the son of Ronny Flores & Melanie Melendez. He was a student at Robert E. Lee High School where he had many close friends. Ronny briefly played football at Robert E Lee Freshman and growing up he also played T-ball and Junior baseball.

Ronny was an outgoing, funny, loving, inquisitive young man who never knew a stranger. He had a love for baseball, especial for the Texas Rangers. Ronny also had such a love for animals that he would pick up strays and bring them home. Over his lifetime, he had several pet dogs, cats and a bird. He had a special love for each one of them. Ronny enjoyed hanging out with his friends and going to the mall. He was always concerned about his appearance and wanted to look “sharp” at all times. He loved his sisters and his brother. Ronny especially enjoyed teaching his little brother, David, to ride a bike and anything else a big brother would do.

Ronny is survived by his parents Ronny Flores and Melanie Melendez of Midland, TX, two sisters, Marilyn Proulx and husband Richard Proulx, Evalyn Flores, a brother David Villafranco III all of Midland, Tx. He leaves his paternal grandparents, Rudy Flores Sr and Olivia Flores of Midland, Tx, paternal great grandmother Emilia P Garza, his maternal grandparents, Frank and Ester Melendez, maternal great grandmother Linda Melendez. His is survived by a nephew Jonathan Ramos, a niece Genesis Proulx, and several aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him very much.

A rosary will be held tonight at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 7:30pm – 9pm. Funeral will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10am. Interment following at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
