Betty Jean Vinson

Betty Jean Seawright Vinson was born to King Searight and to
the late Jennie V. Casey Searight  on May 16, 1949 in
Lowndes County, Alabama. She received her formal education in the
Montgomery Alabama School District.
Shortly after her union to Hubert Vinson, she migrated to
Pontiac, Michigan in 1967. She obtained employment at
General Motors for several years.
Betty had many hobbies, which included cooking, reading,
listening to music, and song writing. She was specially known
for her generous heart and humble spirit to esteem others
greater than herself.
Betty was preceded in death by her sister Arelee (Honey)
Bailey Searight and her brothers Jonny (Alabama) Searight,
Charles Searight, Jessie Lee Searight, and Alfred Searight. She
leaves to cherish her memory her brother, King Searight, Jr.
and sister Jennie Searight; three sons: Jerry Lee (Karen)
Seawright, William (Ricky) (Anikah) Vinson, Donald
(Donny) Williams; three daughters: Cynthia Denise Vinson,
Kelly Diane Vinson, and Kimberly Levete Vinson; 16
grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.
