James Frank Sanders, age 87 and a resident of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, March 11th, at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood Ky. Born May 27, 1926, he was the son of the late Vachel and Effie Sanders. Frank was also preceded in death by five sisters: Grace Singleton, Mable Branom, Nettie Sanders, Nellie Sanders and Hazel Ware and a brother: Lester Sanders.
Frank was a member of the Park Ridge Baptist Church. He was a retired butcher for Stadlers Packing Company, also known as Mariah Packing Company. He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret Sanders; three sons: Charles Mitchell Sanders (wife-Georgia), James Curtis Sanders and Freddie Carl Sanders; one daughter: Clancie Jean ‘Candi” Sanders; Ten grandchildren: Jonathan Sanders, Kevin Jones, Izzak Chandler, Shawna Sanders, Marta Sanders, Noki Beemon, Erica Frye, Micah Beemon, Eric McIntyre and Stephanie Cook and ten great grandchildren: Jamie Robinson, Noah Davis, Ben Jones, Tre’ Jones, Makenna Jones, Garrison Sanders, Timothy Cook III, Emma Grace Chandler, Alexa Abercrombie and Gabrielle Frye.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 14th from 4pm until 8pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will be held at the Consolidated Baptist Church in Warsaw beginning at 1pm on Saturday March 15th. Rev. Chris Hagan and Rev. Ray Ware will be officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Park Ridge Baptist Church.
