U.S. Veteran

Alfred L Curry, Jr., of Killeen passed away on March 11 2014.

He was born on January 2 1942 in Corpus Christi Texas. As a young man he was call to duty and served in the United States Marine Corp for 4 years following the United States Army where he Retired after 20 years. He served 3 tours in Vietnam, where he received various Medals of Honor.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred L Curry Sr & Virginia (Meza) and 5 brothers and 1 sister.

On March 11 2014 God saw fit to call him from Labor to Rest. He leaves to cherish memories of his life : His loving wife of 49 years Mary H Curry and 3 children Lisa D Curry, Belinda A Earvine (Kevin) ,& Alfred L Curry III all of Killeen Texas along with his brother Charlie Curry of Denham Springs La , 3 grandchildren Michael, Barry (Pooh) & Acacia (Lil Mama) following 4 great-granddaughters Maya & Madison & Laniyah &Maliyah

Funeral Services will be held at 3:30PM on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Heritage Funeral Home, Harker Heights. Officiating will be Fr. Richard O’Rourke. A visitation will be held immediately prior to the service from 1:30-3:30PM. Services have been entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home
