James “Jimmy” Brown, 16, of Tecumseh, Oklahoma departed this life Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Tecumseh.
He was born June 22, 1997 to James Marvin and Theresa (Bouchard) Brown in Bellflower, California.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Tecumseh. He attended Tecumseh Public Schools where he was a Junior at Tecumseh High School.
Jimmy was a member of Tecumseh First Assembly of God and a member of the youth band at Norman First Assembly of God where he played the bass. He enjoyed going to Youth Alive. Jimmy was a member of the Tecumseh Bowling Team, Golf Team and of FCCLA. Jimmy loved art, cooking, music and spending time with his family and friends. He had a big heart and loved people unconditionally. He will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Jim Brown; and his grandparents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Theresa Brown, of the home; sister, Shannon Brown, of the home; 2 uncles, Thomas and Shirley Brown, of California and John and Alida Bouchard, of Cottonwood, AZ; 3 aunts, Kathy and Don Bradley, of Tecumseh, Ronelle and Trey Baker, of Tecumseh, Paula and J.R. Phillips, of Wellington, CO; many cousins and extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, March 2, 2014 and 9:00 a.m.to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 and continue until service time. Casket will remain closed after service. Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Tecumseh Alumni Center with Pastor Chad Brodrick, Tecumseh First Assembly of God officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
