Bobby Randel Westmoreland, Sr. 84. Shreveport, LA. Celebrating his life on March 1, 2014 at a Graveside Service at Memorial Gardens North, Blanchard, LA. Family Visitation will be held at 1:00pm, service starts at 2:00pm.

Born July 6,1929 at Pine Island, LA to the late Corley B. Westmoreland and Mamie Clark. Before retiring he worked for Brewster Co for 21 years. When it closed he worked Security at Centenary College and The Glen Nursing Home in Bossier City, LA.

He was the receiver of the Purple Heart from fighting in the Korean War. He loved his children, his grand children, and great grand children. He also enjoyed his fireplace, goldfish, and gardening. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 60 years, Lois H Westmoreland; daughter, Cindy Matlock and husband James Morris. Of Plain Dealing, LA; son, Randy Westmoreland and Teri; grandchildren, Sharla Matlock of Blanchard, LA; Amanda Jensen and husband Henning of Haughton, LA; Stan Westmoreland; James Matthew Matlock and wife Lindsay. Of Shreveport, LA; great grandchildren, Dakota Dupont, Zackary Dupont, Hayden Smith, Carter Jensen, Leah Jenson, and Kennedy Matlock; brother Doc Westmoreland and wife Nora in Rockledge, FL; Jan Harmon and husband Mel Harmon in Washington, Utah; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Henning Jensen, James Matthew Matlock, Dakota Dupont, Stan Westmoreland, Randy Westmoreland, and James Morris Matlock. A special thanks to Regional Hospice for all the kindness they did for Bobby and family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to THBC building fund or donor’s choice. May you rest in peace with Jesus.
