WATERTOWN - Rodney Lynn Arno, 60, of Watertown, was taken from us suddenly with no warning on Friday morning, February 21, 2014 at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He was diagnosed just days before with leukemia.
Born on July 9, 1953 in Carthage the son of Rawlin Robert and Esther Edna (White) Arno where he graduated from Carthage High School. He married Lynn M. Niles on October 3, 1996 at Asbury United Methodist Church in Watertown with Rev. Storrs, officiating.
Rodney was employed by Two Plus Four Management, East Syracuse as a residential maintenance technician from 1990 to this year. He had previously worked for Longley-Jones Management Co.
Surviving is his wife Lynn, his parents Rawlin and Esther; his sister and her husband, Rhonda and William Rogers of Watertown; nieces and nephew, Shannon Einbeck Cicero, MaKenzie, Jana, and Casey Rogers; Rodney’s beloved pet “Buddy”. Rodney was best known for his passion and talent for playing the drums for the Band Country Crew, and numerous benefits for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, building projects, and carpentry work for family and friends. Being a Sci-Fi enthusiast, he enjoyed the Star Trek series.

A funeral service will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 11:00am at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home in Carthage with Rev. Steve Murray, officiating. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, February 25th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm.
A celebration of life will be on Wednesday following the service at his sisters house for family and friends.
