Gordon sang in the choir in each of these churches. Music was an important part of his life. After retirement, Gordon enjoyed the part time job he held for several years driving a van for the children of the St Anne's Episcopal school.

Gordon enjoyed spending holidays and special occasions with his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Gordon also enjoyed spending time caring for his gardens and his yard.
