Caroline Richardson

Obituary Caroline Richardson as born on March 5, 1946 in Beech Island, South Carolina to both the late Frank and Rubenia Richardson. Of that union Caroline was the youngest of five of which one brother, Thomas and one sister, Louise preceded her in death. Caroline’s family moved to Philadelphia, PA when she was three years old. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. After finishing School, Caroline went to work as an assembler at Robert Bruce industrial Company, where she retired from after more than twenty years of service. First and foremost, Caroline was straight and forward when giving advice and especially orders. She meant what she said and said exactly what she meant, she didn’t bite her tongue. But to know her was to love her. She was known for her independence and a very strong woman who raised three daughters as a single parent. Caroline was the backbone of her family. She loved for her grandchildren to call her Nana! She loved to entertain her friends and family BUT on her terms, and would out you out in a minute. She didn’t play! After a long battle with illness surrounded by her children, the Lord called Caroline home on February 17, 2014. She leaves to cherish fond memories her children Tammy, Latonya and Shirl Fisher (Kalid); two sisters, Rosa Lee Madison and Williemae Evans-Simmons (Ernest); three grandchildren, Tamyra, Jahil and Ahmad; one great-granddaughter, the apple of her eyes, Morgan; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Sorrowfully Submitted, The Family

For I am ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand, I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course II Timothy 4:6-7
