Bruce M. Gulisek

Bruce M. Gulisek, 52, of Latrobe, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home. He was born January 19, 1962 in Latrobe, a son of Florence M. “Flo” (Steffens) Gulisek of Latrobe and the late Frank S. Gulisek. Bruce was a 1980 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School and was a heavy equipment operator for URS, Pittsburgh division. He was a social member of the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Lloydsville Volunteer Fire Dept. He was also a member of the St. Joseph’s Social Club, the Loyal Order of Moose, the Sons of the American Legion Post 982, and the VFW Post 3414. In addition to his mother, Bruce is survived by his wife, Renee A. Halula-Gulisek, three siblings: Kenneth Gulisek and his wife Marlene of Greensburg, Linda Beal and her husband Anthony of Waterford, and Thomas Gulisek and his wife Mary Jo of Belmont, OH, nieces and nephews: Bret Gulisek, Charles Beal and his wife Stephanie, Eleanor Beal, Jessica and Nicholas Gulisek, Ashlee Cowles serving with the US Navy, and Arthur “A.J.” Cowles and his wife Kassandra serving with the US Air Force, his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Joyce Halula, a sister-in-law Annette Halula, and his special companions Nico and Simon. Friends will be received from 4 until 7 PM Friday in the Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc. 1500 Ligonier Street in Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Friday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Bill Schaefer officiating. Interment will be private.
