Clifford V. Campbell

Clifford V. Campbell died on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Saint Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 83.

Born and raised in Elwood City, he was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 1948.

Mr. Campbell settled in Falls Township since 1954, 60 years ago. He was an accounting supervisor for over 25 years at USX Fairless Works until his retirement in 1978.

After a brief period at Crown, Cork & Seal and Prior Coated Metals, Mr. Campbell retired from KMart Warehouse where he was a group leader for 11 years.

Mr. Campbell served proudly in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He enjoyed his membership at the YMCA in Fairless Hills where he was a former board member. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting, casino trips and occasional trips to the race track.

Beloved husband of 62 years to Thelma (Stephenson), Mr. Campbell was the loving father of Thad (Sue) of Levittown, Randy (Joann) of Elwood City, Blake (Patricia) of Langhorne, Scott of Fairless Hills and the late Clifford V. He was the devoted grandfather of 11; proud great grandfather of 4; and brother of Robert Campbell of Elwood City. He will also be sadly missed by his two nephews and by his friends at Cafe Ferraro.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Road, Suite 150, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
