Rev. Robert James Forster of Highpoint Drive in Hephzibah, GA entered into rest Monday, January 27, 2014 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. Rev. Forster was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived and worked there as a police officer and later retiring as one. He was a proud member of Essex Masonic Lodge. In 2010, he moved to Augusta, GA. Rev. Forster ministered at Liberty Tabernacle of Prayer for All People, Inc. located in Hinesville, GA. He also ministered at First New Hope Baptist Church in Augusta under the leadership of the Rev. Dr. Larry Neal. Funeral services are scheduled in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 7:00PM at Bethel Evangelical Church with the Rev. Bruce Perriman, officiating. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey. Rev. Forster leaves to morn his memory a loving daughter, Ms. Selena Forster of Hephzibah, GA and a loving son Mr. Robert James Forster Jr. of Brooklyn, NY. Also he leaves three Brothers, Clarence(Renee) Forster of Gilbert, Arizona, Christopher(Maria) Charles Forster and Darryl Forster both of Brooklyn, NY; one Sister Armenia Forster of Brooklyn, NY and one granddaughter Miss Kyara Mariah James of Brooklyn, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
