Born to Marguerite and John Shepherd at the Presidio in San Francisco. Patricia was a graduate of Bishop O’Dowd High School, U.C. Berkeley (1978), and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. After graduating UCLA Law School in 1981, she was employed by Littler Mendelson (1981-2011) until retirement. She was a shareholder at the San Francisco office.

Tricia was a long time resident of Alameda. She enjoyed attending movies and plays, visiting museums, shopping, taking art classes and dining with family and friends. Her family appreciated her enthusiasm for providing advice in all legal matters. In her brief retirement, she was finally able to indulge her love of reading for pleasure.

Tricia will be missed by her sisters Nancy Shepherd (Jerry Shimp), Joan Shepherd Mellows (Oliver), Dr. Laurie Shepherd Page (Lance), and brother Jack Shepherd (Lee); also by her beloved nieces and nephews Capt. Graham Van Dusen (USMC), Kit Van Dusen (Chris Murphy), Taylor and Hayden Page, Craig and Dana Shepherd, and stepmother Patricia Newkirk.

Tricia was proud she fought cancer for 20 years, and her family and friends honor her strength and courage. We give special thanks to her caregivers from Divine Home Care: Bherlyn, Katie and Denise.

A celebration of her life will be held at Palio D’Asti in San Francisco, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Patricia with a donation to your favorite charity. Call Harry W. Greer Funeral Director FDR745 for further information.
