Jack H. Carey, 72 of San Tan Valley, AZ passed on January 6, 2014 in Gilbert, AZ. He was born in Palisade, CO on April 1, 1941 to Harvey and Cora Carey. Jack was raised and graduated from high school in Wheatland, WY and received his associate’s degree from the University of Wyoming. He worked in retail for more than 30 years and started with Sinclair Oil Corp. in 1980. He was a materials manager at the Sinclair Wyoming Refinery. He retired in October of 2012 after 22 years at a job he loved. He and his wife Jean pursued his dream of living in Arizona moving to San Tan Valley on December 1, 2012. He loved his family, horses, floating the river and will forever be a Wyoming Cowboy fan. Jack is survived by wife Jean M. Carey; son Casey Carey and wife Michelle; daughter Robin Yeradi and husband Larry; and extended family Toni Martinez and husband Tim, Monica Burgeson and husband Ben; grandchildren Sinjin and Sean Carey, Hayden, Michael, and Dax Yeradi, Jocelyn and Jerick Martinez, Christian and Delaina Burgeson. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Cora Carey; brothers Lawrence (Bus), and Ray Carey; sisters Valeta English and Bess Wagner. Cremation has taken place and he has requested no services. He only wanted his friends to have a beer and remember the good times.
