Frances Hayes Cook age 75 passed away early Wednesday morning, January 1, 2014 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A funeral service will held at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 3, 2013 at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Ken Harris, and T.W. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Frances was born in Forsyth County on October 30, 1938 to Marion Andrew Hayes and Carletta Laura Hayes. She retired from Comfort Inns in Kernersville. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are sons, Jeff Cook (Angie) of Walkertown, Rick Cook of Utah; daughters, Tammy Carpenter of Thomasville, Sherry Davidson (Mark) of Lewisville, Darlene Brinkley of Lexington and Wendy Mizell (Danny) of Winston-Salem; a brother, Tony Hayes of Winston-Salem, sister, Billie Poe (Jimmy) of Carolina Shores , NC; eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC and Gideon’s International, P. O. Box 285, Lexington, NC 27293.

Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
