Mrs. Fannie Mae Burks was born December 27, 1950 in Burdette, Arkansas to Willie Albert Porter and Annie Bell Thomas Porter. She was a retired school cook and she was of the Baptist Faith.
Mrs. Burks departed this life on December 19, 2013 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas at the age of 62.
She is preeceded in death by her parents: Willie Porter and Annie Henderson and one sister: Pearlie Mae Foreman.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Eugene Burks of Blytheville, Arkansas, five sons: Zachary Burks of St. Louis, Missouri, Zachary Otis Burks of Blytheville, Arkansas, Emmanuel Burks of Orlando, Florida, Demetrice Foreman of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Desmond Holliman of Blytheville, Arkansas, four daughters: Evilian Haley, Virgie Burks, Vanessa Burks, Natalie Foreman all of Blytheville, Arkansas, one brother: Percy McCray of Sacramento, California, three sisters: Ora Robertson of Blytheville, Arkansas, Bobbie Cooper of Key Largo, Florida, Emma Green of Little Rock, Arkansas, thirty-one grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 9-10am at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas with the funeral following at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, Arkansas.
