Miachel Curtis Bonsall

Miachel C. Bonsall, of St. Mary’s, GA, died on December 12, 2013, in Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA. Born July 5, 1956, in Salina, Kansas, Miachel was the son of Charles and Roberta (Eitel) Bonsall of Rockford, IL. Miachel graduated from Rockford East High School in 1974, where he was a member of the East High School football team. After graduation, Miachel joined the United States Army where he completed Military Police training, continuing in law enforcement for several years after his discharge from the military. After serving, Miachel lived in Rockford and Nebraska, before moving to Kingsland, GA, living the rest of his life in the area. Miachel was a Chicago Bears and Jacksonville Jaguars fan, loved to ride his motorcycle, and had a passion for fishing. He dearly loved all his children and grandchildren, and was a good person to everyone he met. He was a member of Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA. Miachel is predeceased by his love, Sonya, and his mother Roberta.

He is survived by four children; Victoria Longmire of Texas, Dannielle (Frank) Grassa of New York, Mike Marples of Nebraska, and Heidi (Kenneth) Clary of Georgia; father Charles of Illinois; sisters, Pamela (Dave) Wendt Wisconsin, Debi (Steve) Ohl of Illinois, and Laura (Tim) O’Rourke of Illinois; 16 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 29th, at 1:30pm, at the Zion Primitive Baptist Church in Brunswick, GA. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to family to assist with cremation expenses are appreciated, or to Zion Primitive Baptist Church.

Low Country Cremation Society is serving the Bonsall family.
