Mr. Tim S. Faulk of Geneva passed away at his residence on Wednesday, November 27, 2013. He was 81. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Geneva with Rev. Nathan Carroll and Dr. Ralph Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva. The family will receive friends at the church Friday beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 309 S. Commerce St. Geneva, AL 36340.
Mr. Faulk was born in Samson, Ala. on December 26, 1931 to the late Judge J.P. Faulk, Jr. and Marie McLellan Faulk. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Prior to his retirement he was a partner at Cox and Faulk Accounting Firm for many years. Mr. Faulk was awarded Deacon Emeritus at the First Baptist Church of Geneva. He was past president in the Geneva Rotary Club and was a past president of the Geneva Quarterback Club. He also served on the first Geneva City School Board. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Stuart Faulk; and sister, Alice Ryan.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cornelia Faulk of Geneva; son, Pratt Faulk (Donna) of Crestview, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tarra Wurst (Tony), Amanda Faulk, both of Panama City, Fla and Adam Faulk of Crestview; great grandchild, Addison of Hartselle, Ala; sister, June Schroeder (Gene) of Troy; and two brothers, Johnny Faulk (Mary Jean) of Samson and Joe Faulk (Peggy) of Troy.
