On Friday morning, November 22, 2013, Ralph "Scrappy" Amice, 94, a resident of the Villages at Flowers Mill in Langhorne, died peacefully at St. Mary Hospital. Ralph was the founder and former co-owner of Scrappy's Auto Service in Penndel. Ralph was a member of the greatest generation, a veteran of WWII, serving as a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945. Born in Fallsington, PA, he was a son of the late Nicola and Carmela (Giano) Amice, Ralph was the brother of the late Anita Pratt, Pat Amice, Anne Vreeland and Vera Appenzeller. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Catherine "Kitty" (Sodano) Amice currently residing in Chandler Hall and three children, daughter Maria and Jay Purcell of West Chester, PA , and two sons, Ralph and Lucy Kelly of Yardley, PA, and Patrick and Cindy of Mechanicsburg, PA. He is also survived by nine nieces and eight nephews. Ralph loved his four grandsons, Nicholas, Connor, Ian and Ben and three granddaughters, Rachel, Katie and Amy. He is also survived by three great grandchildren. In celebration of his life there will be a viewing on Friday, ,November 29 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the James O. Bradley Funeral Home, 260 Bellevue Avenue, Penndel, PA 19047. Friends may also call on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. followed by a Requiem Mass celebrated on Saturday at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, 225 Bellevue Avenue, Penndel.
