Frazer, Loretta M., age 97 went peacefully to the Lord on Nov. 12, 2013.
Loretta was the oldest of four daughters born to Alfred and Mary Frazer. She spent most of her life in Stoneham, MA and was a member of St. Patrick’s parish. While able, she never missed a St Patrick’s Day dinner at the church!
She worked in the clerical department of publisher Houghton Mifflin for over twenty five years. She loved to read to her grand niece and nephews, and often gave them books. Loretta loved to travel, and enjoyed “mystery trips” sponsored by the Stoneham Senior Center. Loretta loved her sweets, and always enjoyed a good piece of chocolate, root beer floats, and lobster rolls.
Loretta never married and didn’t have any of her own children, but was known as “Aunt Loretta” to so many people, related or not! She was a great presence in many people’s lives, and will be sorely missed.
Loretta is survived by many nieces and nephews including her Godson Michael Hoar and his wife, Ann Winter of Enfield, NH, Richard and Jackie Hoar of Redlands, CA, NH, Jean M. Mayo and her partner, Gerry Dea of Londonderry, NH, Gerard and Marty Hoar of New London, Stephen and Liz Hoar of Andover, MA, and others in CA.
