Harold Edward Easton, Sr.

U.S. Veteran

Harold Edward Easton, Sr., 97 of Steubenville, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born on September 23, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA a son of the late Clarence and Alice (Early) Easton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Marie (Stevens) Easton whom passed away on September 21, 2012, one brother, Larry Easton, and three sisters, Ada Logan, Mildred Shiller, and Helen Catchpole.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army. Harold retired after 27 years of service with WSTV where he worked as an Engineer. He was Christian by faith.

Surviving are five children, Joseph (Sally) Easton of Steubenville, OH, Peggy Smith of Riverview, MI, James (Debbie) Easton of Steubenville, OH, Andrew (Sandy) Easton of Steubenville, OH, Patricia (Andy) Kuchinski of Follansbee, WV One sister-in-law, Mary Melle of Latrobe, PA One sister-in-law, Nancy Stevens of Oakdale, PA 14 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 6th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where services will be held on Thursday, November 7th at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Tim Colvin, officiating.

Entombment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.

Full military honors will be conducted by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad.
