Born and raised in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia, the son of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Delaney) Adams, he lived in Holmesburg for 34 years before moving to Fairless Hills in 1997.

Frank was a 1954 graduate of North Catholic High School. He joined the US Navy in 1954 and served in the Submarine Service until 1958.

Beloved husband for 53 happy years to the late Dolores G. (Pohl), Frank was the loving father of Francis T. (Mari) of Sewell, NJ, Donna M. Shuttie of Levittown and Karen E. McGinniss (Brian) of Warrenton, VA. He was the devoted grandfather of Kimberly, Nicole, Maria, Kyle, Christopher, Elena, Ian and Katie and the proud great grandfather of Camryn, Jonathan, Hailey and Caleb. Frank was the caring brother of Robert Adams, Marianne Christiansen, and Joseph Adams. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was preceded in death by a brother John "Jack" Adams.

He was a very dedicated, loyal and hard worker. Until his retirement, he was employed for 50 years at Advance Transportation Company as a General Manager.

Frank was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan, especially enjoying the Phillies and Eagles.

He had a love for dogs, and enjoyed his visits with his granddogs, Roo, Boo and Samson.

Frank always had a quick wit and enjoyed playful banter with others.
