Franklin Morris Chambers

Franklin Morris Chambers, was born on July 25, 1942 in Sherman, Texas to the parentage of Ben and Dorothy Flint Chambers. He attended Sherman Public Schools and was a graduate of the Fred Douglas High School. As a young man in Sherman, Franklin accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. After completing his education, Franklin enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served his country for five years until he was injured, fighting during the Korean War. Franklin was a good spirited, fun loving and caring person, willing to help those he could. On Monday July 8, 2013, Franklin M. Chambers’ tour of duty here on earth ended, and his eternal enlistment with the Lord began. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister. Left to cherish his precious memories are: Special Friend Donna Jackson and family of Biloxi, MS, Godson Treston Rhodes, of Biloxi, MS and other relatives and friends.
