Pamela Sue Daugherty, 57, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County. A resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming since 1995 and former resident of Evanston and Shoshone, Wyoming, Mrs. Daugherty died following a brief illness.
She was born on August 28, 1956 in Vermillion, South Dakota, the daughter of the late Richard and Sharon Chamberlain.
Mrs. Daugherty attended schools in Shoshone, Wyoming and later obtained her GED from the Lifelong Learning Center in Evanston.
She married Scott Lewis Daugherty in Shoshone, Wyoming on June 14, 1981.
Mrs. Daugherty attended the First United Methodist Church regularly. She was a Breast Cancer Survivor .
Her interests included spending time with her grandchildren She also enjoyed spending time with her family camping and traveling. She liked to read and volunteered at the White Mountain Library. She loved her canine companion Nala.
Survivors include her husband Scott Daugherty of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one son Scott Wood and wife Dee Dee and their children of Riverton, Wyoming; three daughters Katie M. Daugherty and son Austin of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Jennifer K. McGee and husband Mike and their son Michael of Hillsboro, Iowa and Megan L. Daugherty of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one brother Randy Chamberlain and wife Young of Sinclair, Wyoming; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog Goldie Girl. .
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 25, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, 1515 Edgar Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church on Friday, one hour prior to services.
