Nancy Jo Dugenske

Nancy Jo Dugenske, (nee Adams), age 63 of West Bend, passed away Friday October 18, 2013 at Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.

She was born on January 29, 1950 in Kalamazoo, MI to Virgil and Joy (nee Brown) Adams. Nancy graduated from O'Brien/Hackett Catholic Central High School in the class of 1968. She lived in California and Milwaukee before moving to West Bend in 1972. While in Milwaukee she graduated from beautician school.

Nancy owned and operated NJD Studio and worked as a beautician. Earlier in her career she worked at West Side Haircutters and Creative Cut. She was an excellent beautician and enjoyed interacting with people. Nancy enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, and in her spare time she liked to read.

She is survived by three children, Rebecca Balistriere of Jacksonville, FL, Mike Balistriere of Milwaukee, and Sarah (David) Cook of West Bend; four grandchildren, Olivia, Aiden, and Sophia Cook, and Amanda Oberg; her mother, Joy Adams of Kalamazoo, MI; three sisters, Candy (Mike) Pierce of Gun Lake, MI, Janet (Terry) Grevious of Muskegon, MI, and Carol Collins of Portage, MI; two brothers, Dennis Adams of Fayetteville, AR, and Keith (Cheryl) Adams of Lehigh Acres, FL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial in remembrance of Nancy will be held on Wednesday October 23rd at 12:00 noon at Holy Angels Catholic Church (138 N. 8th Ave.) West Bend. Rev. Gerald Brittain will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday at the church from 11:00 am until the time of Mass. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery.

Memorials to the Medical College of Wisconsin cancer research are appreciated by the family.
