Marion “Buddy” Fuller
Marion “Buddy” Edward Fuller, age 89, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013 at his home. Marion was born January 25, 1924 in Stamps, Arkansas to Hardy and Myrtis Cheatham Fuller. He served his country in the United States Army, and his community of Stamps as Water and Sewage Superintendent for twenty-eight years. He was a SPECIAL son, brother, and Uncle, and will be missed. Marion loved spending time with his family, and being outdoors. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the fourth floor north tower of St. Michaels Hospital in Texarkana, and the Hospice of Texarkana for their dedication of service.
Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents; One brother, Richard Fuller; One sister-in-law, Bertha Raines Fuller, and one nephew, David Simmons.
He is survived by One brother, James A. Fuller; One sister, Margie Fuller; One sister-in-law Gloria Fuller; Four nieces and nephews; Ten Grand nieces and nephews; Twenty Great-Grand nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Price, Waymon Fuller, Chad Fuller, Jonathan Price, James Martin, and Marshall Martin.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at the A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps with Bro. Mark Rivers and Perry Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at the Liberty Cemetery in Stamps under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until service time Wednesday, October 16, 2013.
