Sister Eusebia Callahan, CSJ, a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston for 82 years, died Tuesday, September 24, 2013.
Daughter of the late Timothy and Bridget (Downing) Callahan, and sister of the late William J. (Mildred) Callahan.
Survived by her loving nephews, William Callahan and Robert (Ann Marie) Callahan, and dear niece, Mary Jean (Lloyd) Sorenson. Also survived by her beloved grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandniece and great grandnephew, and cousins.
Formerly missioned as a teacher at Our Lady Help of Christians School, Newton; St. Mary School, Stoughton; Immaculate Conception School, Marlboro; St. Paul School, Cambridge; and Sacred Heart School, Roslindale where she also served as Librarian for many years.
Visiting hours at Holy Spirit Chapel, Bethany Health Care Center, 97 Bethany Road, Framingham, Saturday, September 28, 2013, at 9:15-10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
