Donald R. Lindner, age 68, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013, at the Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, Missouri.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 25, 1945, the son of Edwin A. and Priscilla J. Spurgeon Petry.

In 1963 he enlisted in the United States Air Force and became a career Airman with twenty years of service. He was retired from Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, in 1983.

On May 7, 1976, he was united in marriage to Starr Lynn Cain in Miami, Oklahoma. Following his discharge in 1983 the moved to make their home in Warsaw, Missouri.

He was employed as a Security Guard at the Bent Tree Harbor Development for several years.

Donald is survived by his wife, Starr, of the home, one son, Scott Lindner, of Warsaw, one daughter, Jodie Lindner and his granddaughter, Aerielle Cecil, of Racket, Missouri, one brother, Bob Petry, of the state of California, one sister, Darlene Hatcher, of the state of Nevada, other relatives and friends.

Donald R. Lindner will be cremated. No funeral services are scheduled at this time.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at O'Briens Restaurant in Racket, Missouri, at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 22, 2013.
