Jaime Seigo

Jaime Jean Seigo, 28, of Swartz Creek, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away, Saturday, April 20, 2013, in Flint, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Jaime was born Sept. 1, 1984, in Bad Axe, the daughter of Steve and Robin (Delphey) Seigo. She graduated from Bad Axe High School in 2002 and just graduated with honors from Baker College of Owosso as a radiographic technician. She was employed at Beaumont Hospital of Grosse Pointe. Jaime was active in high school sports including tennis and softball, jazz band and the color guard. She was a die hard Detroit Tigers and Michigan State University football fan. She enjoyed competing in the Warrior Dash with her friend. She was active in many cancer awareness programs. Jaime very much loved her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Steve and Robin Seigo of Bad Axe; brother, Vincent Seigo of Grand Rapids; grandparents, Bob and Donna Delphey of Bad Axe and Tom and Marlene Seigo of East Tawas; aunts and uncles, Tom and Dawn Seigo of East Tawas, Ray and Michelle Seigo of Ionia, Chris and Christine Seigo of Grand Ledge, Mark and Cindy Delphey of Mindoro, Wis., Kim and Tom Delaney of Vassar and Bob and Rhonda Delphey of Hillsdale; very special friend Tony Lalonde and his mother and step-father, Barry and Cheryl VanWagoner, all of Swartz Creek; many great-aunts and uncles; cousins; and many, many friends. There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Bad Axe United Methodist Church. The Rev. William Wright will officiate. Burial will be in Colfax Cemetery. A celebration of Jaime’s life will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013, at MacAlpine Funeral Home in Bad Axe and Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
