Virginia E. Espinoza

**FUNERAL MASS CHANGED TO 4:00pm**

Virginia Espinoza also known as Virgie, passed away in her home in Orange CA on August 29, 2013 at the age of 93 surrounded by her children. Born on September 20, 1919 in El Modena, CA she was a long time resident of Orange. She is survived by her six children and their spouses: daughters Connie Lobo (Bob) and Teri Viloria (Gene), sons Edward Espinoza (Charlotte), David & Ignacio Espinoza and Frank Espinoza Jr. (Melinda). Proceeded in death of her husband Frank Espinoza. Survived by brothers, David, Roberto, Gonzalo, Refugio Espinoza. Sisters Bertha and Enedina. She was blessed with eight grandchildren: Monica Horner, Tricia Espinoza, Tawny Zell, Brent Lobo, Devan Espinoza, Brianna & Cady Espinoza and Mikaela Viloria. Her five great grandchildren: Mia & Elise Zell, Colin & Ethan Horner, and Dylan Marin. She was known for her loving spirit, joyous sense of humor, strong catholic faith, and longtime roots within the community. She was a proud member of La Purisima when it was the La Purisima Mission church established in 1925. Virginia belonged to the church group Las Guadalupanas and volunteered at the annual community Jamaica’s and fiestas cooking her delicious food. Her passion was cooking, crocheting and sewing for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time on her porch swing any time of the year. Her cooking and television idols were Emeril Lagasse and Martha Stewart. She worked for Villa Park Orchards packing house for over thirty years Virginia loved her job and her fellow employees.

A dedicated mother and grandmother she will be missed by many. God has sent her to heaven to be with her husband Frank, sons Blas, Francisco Jr., and grandson Baby Justyn in peace.

Our gratitude and sincere thanks to Virginia’s caregiver Elvira who provided loving assistance and to St. Joseph Hospice for such compassionate care received during her illness.

Funeral services to be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 11712 N. Hewes St. Orange, CA. Rosary 3:30 p.m. Mass at 4 pm with reception to follow in the Parish Center.

Gravesite services held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 7845 E. Santiago Canyon Road, Orange, CA 92869.
