Jack M. Baldwin

Jack M. Baldwin 85, of Duncan, passed away Friday, August 30,2013 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Eastside Church of Christ with Ron Stough officiating, interment will be at RestHaven Memorial Gardens, arrangements are under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jack was born December 29, 1927 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to James Henry "Pete" and Catherine Francis Baldwin. He attended school in Ringling, Oklahoma area, where he met and married his soul mate, Danell Austin, on June 18, 1944.

Jack and Danell moved to Duncan in 1951, when Jack began working for Halliburton Services, he retired as shop supervisor in 1968 after 34 years of services. In retirement, he and Danell enjoyed traveling, fishing and visiting with their many friends. Jack and Danell were lifelong members of the Esatsde Church of Christ, Jack was known to all as a man of faith.

He is survived by his three sons and daughter-in-laws; Michael & Karen Baldwin of Duncan, Oklahoma David & Debbie Baldwin of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Kenneth and Deborah Baldwin of Duncan, Oklahoma, his brother; Bill Baldwin and sister; Dorothy File, both of Texas, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Jack was reunited in heaven with love of his life, Danell, their son Randy, his sisters; Lois and Alice, his brother; James and his parents.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Cooper, Michael G. Baldwin, Shawn Baldwin, Robert Turnbull, Brent Lovelace and Chris Rider
