Mr. Conrad H. Reeves, age 91, of North Wilkesboro, died Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the home of his daughter. He was born March 31, 1922 in Wilkes County to Hiram Jackson and Dosia Brown Reeves. He was a World War II US Army Veteran, serving in Africa and owner of Cullers BP Service Station. Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lelia Shumate Reeves; and a daughter, Julene Reins.

Surviving are his daughter, Linda Shew and husband Davie of North Wilkesboro; four grandchildren, Kirt Wyatt and Paige Wiles of North Wilkesboro, Scott Wyatt of Millers Creek, Allen Reins and wife Amy of Wilkesboro, Lisa Stone of Mooresville; and four great grandchildren, Dylan Wyatt of Millers Creek, Megan Stone of Mooresville, Shana Reins and Matthew Reins both of Wilkesboro.

Graveside service with military honors by Veterans of Foreign Wars Honor Guard Post 1142 will be held 1:00 o’clock Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with the VFW Chaplin, Larry Reavis officiating.
