Aline Carrell of Crawfordsville passed away Tuesday morning at Bethany Village in Indianapolis. She was 82.
Mrs. Carrell was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School. She worked at Hoosier Crown in the research department inventing caps and closures.
Born June 23, 1931 in Crawfordsville, she was the daughter of Homer Dulin and Nellie Kern Dulin. She married John Carrell June 4, 1953 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He passed away June 14, 2009.
Survivors include a son, Mike Carrell, two nieces that she and John raised as daughters, Deanna Williams and Dora “Beth” Spencer, step-son, Larry Carrell and three brothers, Basil Dulin, Richard Dulin and Gene Dulin. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Sandy, Oveta and Vernice, two grandsons, Michael Wayne and James A.
There will be no visitation and no public services. Her ashes will be laid to rest at Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
