Leroy Snow, affectionately known as "Herman Cat Daddy", was born to the union of the late Leonard Snow and Earline Brown Snow. He was the first of ten children and confessed his hope in Christ at an early age and joined Grays Chapel CME. Leroy worked at Best Built Lumber Company until they went out of business.
He departed this life July 13, 2013 at Baptist Memorial in Oxford, MS. He leaves to cherish his memories a very loving and special friend Ms. Maggie Pearl Buffington of Waterford, MS. His mother Earline B. Snow of Holly Springs, MS. Five sisters: Corrine Norton (Albert), Ashland, MS.,Jearline (Arthur) Crutcher, Memphis, TN., Odessa (Mecoye) Newton, and Martha Jeffries all of Holly Springs, MS., and Sharon (Kendrick)Hall Oswego, IL. Five brothers: Earnest L. Snow, David Snow, Bobby Snow, Michael (Annette) Snow, and Leon (Jennifer) Snow all of Holly Springs, MS.
He also leaves five stepdaughters: Betty (James) Greed, Louise Rosie (Tom)Mitchell, Lora (Cecil) Ingram, Shirley Buffington, Georgia Buffington,, and Louise (Johnny) McAllen of Chicago, IL, and two stepsons: Fred Buffington and David Buffington. Three sister in laws: Shaquitta (Charles) Scruggs, Monica (Kevin) Govan, and Anna Sue Hardin all of Holly Springs, MS. A special Aunt Ozell Elliot of Memphis, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and friends.
Two brother in laws proceeded him in death, Virgil Jeffries and Shelby Hardin.
