Paula Faye Arnold, 69, of Dwight, formerly of Reddick, passed away July 19, 2013 at 11:42 AM at Heritage Manor, Dwight.
Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services.
She was born Nov. 4, 1942 in Kankakee, IL. She married Vernon Arnold Sr. 1959 in Kankakee. They later divorced after having two sons: Vernon Jr. (Penny) of Reddick, and Tim (Mary) of Mazon, three Grandaughters: Andrea, Ashley and Amber Arnold, one grandson, Brandon Arnold and three step grandchildren, Kerry Schoot, Jamie Anderson, and Jennifer Anderson. One sister, Nannette Heck of Jacksonville, Fl. and a brother, Richard Maisenwe of West Virginia also survive.
Paula was an antique dealer and owned her own shop her in Dwight for several years and later moved her business, "Second Chance" to Jacksonville Fl. for 17 years. Paula belonged to the Catholic Women of Jacksonville, Fl. and Mandrin Moose Lodge #42 in Jacksonville, Fl. where she was a very active member until her stroke in 1999.
She is survived by a close friend, Sally Henderson, who described her as having a gypsy spirit and always enjoying the experinces of life.
