Merle Wagoner

Merle Emery Wagoner, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Visitation 1-8 pm Friday, July 12 at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 10 am Saturday, July 13, at First Baptist Church of Haysville, 125 S. Delos. Merle served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and dirt track racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Myrtle Wagoner, 8 brothers, and a sister. Survived by his wife, Doris; children Robin (Keicha) Wagoner, Sheryl (Keith) Woods, Ronald (Katherine) Wagoner, Brenda (Darin) Leis, Rocky Wagoner, Becky Wagoner, Randy (Shelly) Wagoner, Ricky (Angie) Wagoner; 34 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; brother Carl (Marian) Wagoner, and sisters Mary, Lenora, and Grace. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Interim Hospice, 333 S. Broadway Ste. 200, Wichita, KS 67202.
