Alan is survived by his wife, Charline "Chuckie" Bardwell White. A true Native Son of Denver, Alan attended Park Hill School, Smiley Jr. High and East Denver High School, and graduated from Yale University in 1949. Alan served from 1950-52 in the U.S. Army Medical Records Dept., Washington D.C. He is also survived by two sons: Garrett of Houston, TX and Robert (Eileen) of Piedmont, CA, and four Colorado daughters: Andrea Schaffner (Frank) of Yampa; Leslie Crosby (Mike) of Parshall; Jennifer White of Golden; and Amy Naes (Michael) of Denver. Alan leaves behind twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson. Alan was President of Rocky Mountain Bank Note Company and Veribest Checks and Forms of Boulder. He was a board member of Printing Industries of Colorado, board chair of Mountain States Employers Council, and a member of Denver Rotary, The University Club, and St. Gabriel Episcopal Church. Services and reception will be held at St. Gabriel's, 6190 E. Quincy Ave., Cherry Hills Village 80111, on July 15th at 10:30 a.m. Contributions may be made to The Denver Hospice, 501 S.
