A memorial service remembering the life of Ernestine (Teeny) Brown McCraw will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 6 pm in Wise Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham, Texas. Officiating will be Mark Posey. She passed away early Sunday morning, July 7, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.

She was born July 29, 1941 in Flag Springs, Texas, the eldest child of Ernest Mack and Juanita Christine (Crow) Brown. She attended school at Ladonia School in Ladonia, Texas. She graduated from Paris Junior College in 1979 with her Associate Degree in Nursing and from the University of Texas at Arlington with her Masters Degree in Nursing in 1988. Known as an excellent nurse by her peers, she had the opportunity to work with friends not only throughout North Texas but also in several states. Teeny loved traveling the world and enjoyed the thrill of a winning hand at the card table.

She is survived by; sisters Sue and husband James Fletcher of Honey Grove and Nancy and husband Wayne Barber of Bonham; brothers Harold and wife Betty Ann Brown of Bonham, James Edward Brown of Honey Grove and Billy Ray Brown, also of Honey Grove. She is survived by four children, Rita and husband Paul Kirkpatrick of Dodd City, Jimmy Roberts of Bonham, Leslie and wife Celeste Roberts, of Bonham, and Justin and wife Jamie Roberts of Honey Grove; six grandchildren, Nathan Kirkpatrick and Tina Coleman, Jessica and husband Lance Taylor, Cayleb and Lorelei Roberts, and Tyler and Aubrey Roberts; two great grandchildren Dawson and Jackson Taylor. She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Freddy Clay Roberts and husband Billy Mayfield McCraw. Of the Baptist faith, Teeny enjoyed her Sunday morning services at Seven Oaks Nursing Center in Bonham where she was a resident for two years.
