John "Jack" Ellis Dolan 72 of Dwight, Ill. passed away at his home on July 4, 2013 at 5:55 PM.

His services will be 11:00 AM Wed. July 10, 2013 with visitation for 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Officiated by: Rev. Oliver Zivney, VFW Post #2608 performing military rites at the funeral home. His inurnment will be at a later date.

Jack was born in Morris, Il. Aug. 18, 1940 to John Leroy & Kathryn Miller Dolan. He married Linda Fieldman Emmons on Jan. 10, 1989. He was formerly married to Karen Bruback, both survive.

He is survived by 12 children and step-children; Tammie (Kevin) Johnson , Diamond, il. Jim (Amanda)Emmons, Jerry (Erin) Emmons, Jeff (Katie) Emmons, Casey(Stefanie) Dolan, Jason Emmons, & Justin (Kayla) Emmons, all of Dwight, Joe (Laura) Dolan, Washington, Il. Jackie (Gary) Hardwick, VA. Robin (John) Charron, IN. Jill (Brent) Brumley, & Lacy Dolan, both of CA.. 21 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 1 Sister Joyce (Don) Hutchings, Morris, 2 brothers, Bill Dolan, Minooka, Michael (Laima) Dolan, Utica, Il.

He was educated in the Mazon schools, and belong to the American Legion Post #486. He was a veteran of the US Navy, Key West Fl. during the Missle Crisis. He met President John F. Kennedy when preparing the Naval Base.

He enjoyed fishing, model railroading, camping, boating and construction.
