Kathleen Mae Gentner, 72, of Macon, MO passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013, as a result of an automobile accident.
Kathleen was born on August 5, 1940, in Macon, MO, the daughter of John Francis and Mollie Allene (Lewis) Healey. She was united in marriage to Martin Clem Gentner on February 9, 1957. Kathleen was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Macon and enjoyed her cats, family, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Martin of the home, four children, Shari Gentner of Macon, Kerri Henry and Don Shannon of Moberly, Marty Gentner and wife, Lisa of Madison, Kortney Gentner and wife, Danielle of Jefferson City, MO; six grandchildren, Amy Cook and husband, Matt of Macon, Brandon Bickhaus and wife Brandi of Macon, Jennifer Dawson and husband Tim of Callao, Allene Bickhaus of Macon, Tara Henry of Moberly, Jason White of Madison, MO; ten great-grandchildren and one sister Margaret Hall and husband Bill of Macon.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bridget Machetta Gillen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 10 am at the Immaculate Conception Church in Macon, with Father Dave Viet officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm, Monday evening at the Hutton & McElwain Funeral Home in Macon, with a Vigil Service starting at 4:30 pm. Memorials can be made to the Immaculate Conception Church.
